On March 9, 2005, the general contract agreement between the National Remote Sensing Center and Galileo Satellite Navigation Co., Ltd. of China on the implementation of the Cooperation Agreement between the National Remote Sensing Center of China and the Galileo Joint Executive Body on the Galileo Project was signed in Beijing, establishing the position of Galileo Satellite Navigation Co., Ltd. as the general contractor of the Galileo Project in China.
On December 20, 2005, Galileo Satellite Navigation Co., Ltd. of China passed ISO9001:2000 quality management system certification.
